Pre-Design

What is a building's function? Who will it serve? How will the building serve the occupants and the larger community? These are among the questions the Owner and Design teams begin to hammer out in the Pre-Design stage of a commercial project. This lesson begins the journey through the design and construction stages of a commercial project describing the activities and responsibilities completed at this first stage.
